Emily 林 (Lin) is a Taiwanese-British, Hong Kong-born contemporary artist based in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Working predominantly in oil and acrylic, Emily creates hypnotic pieces imbued with emotional ambiguity. Her current body of work explores the intricate internal journeys of reconnecting with a more natural iteration of being. She explores themes of spiritual longing and personal mythology. Her subjects exude an enigmatic presence, suspended in the liminal space between conscious and unconscious realms.
